Frequently Asked Questions

Why can I not order online?

We felt that as a new business we wanted to ensure that every customer gets the attention they deserve. As a relatively new concept it’s good to chat about your design and order so that we can guarantee we can produce exactly what you need.

Why a sustainable product?

South Westerly is the very first company world-wide to produce a windbreak with such high eco-credentials. We try to ensure that the environment is at the core of everything that we do.

What is the minimum quantity?

For a bespoke designed windbreak the minimum order is twenty five. For a stock windbreak the minimum order is one.

What are the prices?

The price depends on various factors such as: quantity, colour, print, timescale etc. It’s best to contact us to talk this through.

What is the lead time?

There are several lead times depending on your time frame. We can print stock windbreaks in the UK within 7 to 10 days; however for more detailed print the best price option is to use Sea freight with a longer lead time of 10 to 12 weeks.

The alternative option is that we can Air freight with a 3 to 4 week lead time (option to carbon offset is available too).

How many colours can there be in a design?

We try to keep the designs to a maximum of four colours, although we are happy to discuss more technical designs if necessary.

Are the windbreaks washable and easy to maintain?

Yes, washing details are explained on the care label, the windbreak material can be washed at 30 degrees (we wouldn’t advise using a tumble dryer…). Like most outdoor products make sure the windbreaks are completely dry before packing away.
